AFCS-JR, Inc. 2010 Winner's Choice Raffle - Golden Rules:
These rules govern the raffle and are binding on every ticket buyer and person named in a ticket for Winner's Choice Winter Raffle.
HOW TO BUY RAFFLE TICKETS:

• Request Ticket Online: Go to www.jeanrabel.com and follow direction from the home page.
• In person: purchases can be from AFCS-JR, Inc. member, an authorized volunteers or affiliates.
WHO CAN BUY RAFFLE TICKETS:
Ticket buyers and everyone named on a ticket must be at least 18 years old at the time of purchase. Tickets can be bought only in the names of people (not corporations, businesses or other entities). AFCS-JR, Inc. board members can buy tickets but cannot be named on a ticket as a potential prize winner.

Note: A minimum of 3,000 tickets must be sold to award the first prize otherwise the prize will be awarded at the next drawing after the ticket sales threshold is reached.

RAFFLE PURCHASE DEADLINES:
The raffle may sell out before a deadline. Deadlines may be extended at AFCS-JR, Inc. discretion without notice.
RAFFLE DRAWING DATES, TIMES, AND LOCATION:
(Please check website for updates.) Location of drawings will be published on the official raffle website of Jeanrabel Online, and everyone is welcome. Winners need not be present. Tickets cost $2.00 each.
AFCS-JR, Inc. may add other purchase discounts and promotions during the raffle without notice.
Tickets can be bought by cash (in person only), , money order or check payable to AFCS-JR, Inc.
Ticket deemed by AFCS-JR, Inc. to be defective, illegible or submitted without good funds will not be honored.
All sales are final. No changes to the people named on an entry form or ticket will be made after the purchase. No payments will be refunded, including payments received from ineligible parties, except at AFCS-JR, Inc. discretion. All applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances apply to this raffle. This raffle is void where prohibited by law.
THE DRAWINGS:
AFCS-JR, Inc. will randomly draw the winning tickets during drawing. The odds of winning prizes depend on the number of tickets in each drawing and the number of tickets you purchase. If 1,000 tickets are sold, then the odds of any 1 ticket winning a Prize will be 1 in 1,000.
During the drawing, the first ticket drawn will be for that drawing's least valuable prize and the last ticket drawn will be for that drawing's most valuable prize. No ticket can win more than 1 prize in each drawing
Multi-Ticket Drawing: Only for buyers of more than 6 tickets during the raffle. Buy 6 tickets or more in the same name(s), you will receive 1 entry in the Multi-Ticket Drawing.
The winning ticket numbers will be posted at www.jeanrabel.com
MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM TICKETS:
A maximum of 5,000 tickets will be sold. In the event that at least 1,000 tickets have not been sold by the final deadline, then all prizes that have reached the threshold amounts will be awarded except the 1st Prize will not be the Laptop Computer but instead will be $300.00 of the raffle proceeds.
RULES APPLICABLE TO ALL TICKET BUYERS AND ALL PRIZE WINNERS:
AFCS-JR, Inc. will make reasonable efforts to contact prize winners using the information on the winning ticket. If a prize winner cannot be located within 30 days after the drawing or if any person is ineligible under these Rules or applicable law, then he/she will not be awarded the prize, no other ticket will be substituted for that ticket and the prize will be retained by AFCS-JR, Inc. Any prize not claimed within 60 days after that prize's drawing will not be awarded. A person named on a ticket cannot transfer his/her interest in the ticket.
Each winner is solely responsible for timely paying and reporting all taxes attributable to that winner's prizes, whether or not AFCS-JR, Inc. withholds taxes or complies with withholding laws.
As a condition to receiving a prize, each winner shall present to AFCS-JR, Inc.: (1) proof of identity and age; (2) any information required by applicable law; (3) a publicity release allowing the winner's name, likeness, voice and city of residence to be recorded by AFCS-JR, Inc. by audio, video, or digital means and to be used by AFCS-JR, Inc. in any print, audio or visual media without notice or compensation. Each person who buys a ticket and/or whose name appears on a ticket: (1) agrees that AFCS-JR, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives are not responsible for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising in connection with, or as a result of this raffle and/or that person's failure to win or redeem any prize, or that person's award of, acceptance of or use of, any prize; and (2) releases and agrees to indemnify, defend, protect, and hold harmless AFCS-JR, Inc. and officers, directors, employees, agents, advertising agency, contractors, insurers, attorneys, accountants and affiliates from and against all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising in connection with this raffle, that person's failure to win or redeem any prize, that person's tax liabilities with respect to that person's prizes, and that person's award of, acceptance of, or use of any prize; and (3) represents and warrants to AFCS-JR, Inc. that he/she has read and understands these Rules and agrees to be bound by these Rules and AFCS-JR, Inc.'s decisions as to the raffle, which are final.
Each prize and its related tax liability belongs 100% to person named as winners on the tickets. Under IRS rules, amounts paid for tickets are not tax-deductible except to the extent allowed as gambling losses.
These rules may not be copied, reproduced, or used in whole or part in any manner without the express prior written consent of AFCS-JR, Inc.
